Course Format

  • A 6-week blended training program available in Hindi & English
  • Participation by senior & junior coaches
    • 2 senior coaches per organization (mixed-gender pair) mentored by our facilitators
    • Senior coaches, in turn, mentor up to 10 junior coaches in their organization
  • Blended training includes:
    • 19 pre-recorded lessons + weekly assignments for junior & senior coaches to complete via Thinkific
    • Online support forum for junior & senior coaches
    • 1 hour/week of 1:1 sessions for senior coaches  (6 hours total)

Course Weekly Timeline

Sunday Mornings

Coaches get access to pre-recorded video lessons, support PDFs & weekly assignments via Thinkific, the online learning platform

Monday - Friday
  • Personalized check-in calls with senior coaches to review the week’s curriculum, assignments and implementation
  • Senior coaches mentor junior coaches through the week’s module giving them a chance to implement their newly acquired skills
  • Senior & junior coaches can post questions and share out at any time via the online forum

Liz Haynes

Transformational Sports

Liz has a passion for developing sports & gender curriculum for young people. She has lived, played and coached in India since 2013. She has created sports & gender immersion camps, coach trainings, fellowships, social action labs and rural sports outreach programs all with the sole focus of advancing gender equity through mixed-gender sports programs. Benoy Stephen

Program Manager & Facilitator
Transformational Sports

Benoy joined TS in 2017 as a Bridging the Gaps fellow and became passionate about breaking gender barriers. He completed the Teach for India fellowship in 2018 and co-founded Y-Ultimate, a young not-for-profit that uses the sport of ultimate frisbee to build life skills in children, especially those from marginalised backgrounds. He is currently also a player and mentor at GK MAD, an ultimate frisbee club team in Delhi.
